Where the plant already grows

Acmella oleracea grows naturally and semi-wild across the highlands around Ambalavao, and it is harvested right where it grows.

The region's climate and growing conditions suit the plant exceptionally well, which is why we source from here and nowhere else.

Harvests are small and careful. The flowers are gathered by hand and sun-dried shortly after picking, before they ever travel.

From our supplier

The growing conditions here are particularly well suited to Acmella, and the growers we work with already know the plant well.
