[ The flower ]

Flower heads, chosen one by one.

What happens to the flower.

Grown

Semi-wild in the highlands. Acmella oleracea grows naturally around Ambalavao, in conditions that suit it perfectly.

Collected

Picked by hand. Every flower is gathered by hand, with the care a machine cannot give.

Dried

Sun-dried after harvest. The flowers dry naturally in the sun, shortly after they are picked.

Selected

Flower heads only. We take just the flower head, the part that carries the plant's naturally occurring Spilanthol.

Sorted

Graded for colour and condition. Only well-developed, clean heads with good colour are kept, then shielded from moisture, heat and light and vacuum-packed to stay fresh.

Measured

Verified by an independent laboratory. Our latest analysis measured 4.01% Spilanthol in the flower heads, a clear quality benchmark for the botanical behind every Kanti product.

The flower head is where the Spilanthol is, so it is what we have independently tested, at source, before we buy a single one.
